In-Person doula services are still currently available, although meet & greets and Prenatal appointments will take place via Zoom.

Birth Doula Services

I offer birth doula services in Albany, NY and the surrounding area.  My services consist of one or two prenatal meetings (depending on timing and family needs), continuous labor support at your birth, and two postpartum meetings after the birth.  I offer a free “meet and greet” to see if I might be a good fit for your birth.  

The fee for my doula services is $1600.  Half of that fee is collected as a retainer when you hire me.  This allows me to block off your “due time” on my calendar and not take other clients during that time.  The remainder of the fee is due at our first prenatal meeting. 

I believe that all families deserve continuous labor support and would happily chat with you if you are constrained by budget but are still interested in doula services. 

Postpartum Support

For my birth doula clients who want a little extra support in the weeks following baby’s arrival, I offer a mini-postpartum package. This package includes 10 hours of support beyond the basic postpartum check-ins. It is scheduled in blocks of 2-5 hours in the first 2-3 weeks after baby’s arrival. During this time I help in a variety of ways to help new parents adjust. This package is not meant to replace more extensive postpartum doula services, a lactation consultant or other birth-related professional. For families who want a little boost from someone they already know, this can be a great option. If they then feel they need extended support, I have a network of postpartum doulas who I can refer to.

The fee for this service is $500, half paid at time of hire and half paid before our first postpartum session.

Group Childbirth Classes

I offer a unique, independent group class (currently being offered virtually). In a small group setting, families will prepare for the arrival of their babies in an interactive and empowering format designed to make the most of the knowledge they already have and maximize the time in class. Private Classes

I believe that group childbirth classes offer an amazing opportunity to begin building a peer parenting community and to learn from other families as you prepare for your next steps in parenting. However, there are many reasons families sometimes prefer private or individual classes.

I offer private classes virtually at this time.

Private classes are customized to meet your needs and your schedule. Classes are priced at $50/hour. I have availability evenings, weekends, and weekdays so I would love to work with your schedule.
