Meet Mallory

Hello! I am a birth doula and childbirth educator in the Puget Sound region. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I have lived in Seattle, Kirkland and Woodinville and have worked and served clients in Mountlake Terrace, Everett, Bothell, Bellevue, Kenmore, and beyond!

I am currently completing a Full Spectrum Doula training with Birth Advocacy Doula Trainings. I am also working towards DONA certification, having complete a DONA Approved workshop in 2018. I have been working with families since 2014.

I am a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. I completed training through the Simkin Center, certified with Great Starts locally, completed a Passion for Birth Lamaze workshop, and then joined and certified with Lamaze International.  I currently teach childbirth classes through the Great Starts program of Parent Trust for Washington Children, volunteers as a leader of PEPS groups and am a contributing writer on the Lamaze blog “Connecting the Dots”.

I love to read, write, create art, craft, organize, cook (and eat!). It is important to me to be actively involved in my communities, so you can often find me volunteering at my son’s elementary school, meeting up with friends at the park, volunteering with organizations that are important to me, and seeking out trainings and conferences as often as possible!

I believe that all birthing people deserve to be respected, cared for, safe, and trusted during their pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum recovery. My goal as a childbirth professional is to hold space for parents to get the support they need during these big transitions in their lives. This support looks different for everyone, and I strive to personalize the experience with the families I am connected with, or to refer directly to birth support that may be a better fit.
